Having just returned from presenting to the Fox River Ad Club in Green Bay, Wisconsin, it's good to be home but it was definitely great to meet all of you! I'd certainly welcome the opportunity to return at some point in the future.

As promised, here are some links to additional information regarding the presentation topic as well as some of the questions asked by the audience both during and after the presentation.

Feel free to post a comment below if you have feedback about the presentation or if you have a question you didn't have a chance to ask!

One of the most asked questions has been, "How do I show the Who Needs Designers video to my friends and coworkers?" You guys are the first to have seen it and I'm very happy that it was so well received! The final, finishing touches are in process right now so early next week we should have it available online. We're also printing a series of collectible t-shirts that we're pretty excited to get our hands on so we'll also make those available generally if you're interested.

So…probably the best way to find out the moment we have the video available is to subscribe to my blog on this page. You can either subscribe via RSS or by entering your email address. Then you'll be notified as soon as I post the link to the video.

Now, on to the presentation itself. Here are links to more information about the most-frequently asked questions. Again, post a question below if you're looking for more info on something and don't see it here. I'm happy to help!

Regarding the 3 main points I made about constructing quality websites for your clients, here are some links for additional reading.

Code Quality

  • Adobe on Accessibility — A great primer on accessibility.
  • CSS Zen Garden — This is the site that I showed 4 examples from. It illustrates the power of semantic markup and separating website content from presentation.
